Itinerary

Day 1Arrival - Yerevan - Tsaghkadzor - Lake Sevan - Dilijan

Touching down at Zvartnots International Airport is just the beginning of an incredible journey!

Our dedicated representative will be ready and waiting to ensure a seamless transfer from the airport to our first stop, which will be Tsaghkadzor town, flower canyon in Armenian, a small town located north of the capital Yerevan, well known by its Ski Resort, ropeway and beautiful Kochari’s Monastery. Kecharis is a medieval Armenian monastic complex dating back to the 11th to 13th centuries, in the ski resort town of Tsaghkadzor. We will enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding mountains from the ropeway.

Continue our tour to Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the highest ones in the world with fresh water, 1900 meters above sea level. There we can visit Sevanavank (monastery of Sevan) which is situated at the top of a small hill and enjoy a boat tour in the lake, depending on the weather condition.

We will continue to visit Dilijan resort town. The town is one of the most important resorts in Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. There are many attractive, but “hidden” destinations in Dilijan; Lake Parz is one of them. It is a small lake located in the Dilijan National Park east of Dilijan town in Armenia. The lake was formed by natural climatic changes. The uniqueness of the lake lies in the fact that it is visited and beautiful in winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Additionally, Lake Parz can offer boat rides, Zipline etc. Continue our visit to old Dilijan. Check in at the hotel in Dilijan.

Day 2Dilijan - Haghartsin Monastery,4X4 Off Road & Horse-riding

Start your day right with a delightful breakfast at the hotel

Our journey begins with a visit to the picturesque Haghartsin Monastery, nestled in the serene heart of nature near Dilijan, From Haghartsin, we will embark on an off-road adventure by 4×4 UAZ vehicles to Dimats Mountain, offering spectacular views throughout the one-and-a-half-hour tour.

Following the exhilarating off-road experience, we will transition to our next stop for a leisurely horse-riding session lasting one hour or more. Refreshments such as tea, coffee, and firebon will be provided.

Concluding our adventure, we will return to Haghartsin via 4×4 cars before making our final stop at Old Dilijan Street in Dilijan town. Our journey concludes as we head back to the hotel in Dilijan, marking the end of an unforgettable day exploring the beauty of Dilijan.

Day 3Dilijan - Yerevan - City tour

After a mouthwatering breakfast and departing from the hotel in Dilijan, our journey back to Yerevan will mark the beginning of an exciting tour.

Our first stop will be a visit to Mother Armenia Statue, which is the famous victory Memorial of World War II. Here, you can have a panoramic view to Yerevan and biblical Ararat Mountain. Besides, we can visit the military museum underneath the huge statue of Mother Armenia. During the tour, we will visit the Cascade complex, famous for being one of the tourist attraction sites and holding many modern art pieces. The complex has a giant stairway made of limestone; it links the downtown area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. Continue our journey to Northern Avenue with a stop at State Opera and Ballet theatre. The Avenue is well known as the home of luxurious residential buildings, high-end branded shops & restaurants.

Our next stop will be The Republic Square. It is the central town square in Yerevan. Then we will visit Vernissage Market. Vernissage is an open–air exhibition-market functioning on the weekends. It was formed during the 1980s by Armenian artists who started to display their art works in the square. In addition to carved wood and art works, traditional carpets, old collections of coins and medallions, books, jewellery, musical instruments, electronics are found in the market.

Our last stop for today will be Gum Market, Armenia’s coolest fresh food market and the best local market in Yerevan to visit. After tours, you can continue discovery of city on your own.

Day 4Yerevan - Free Day

After breakfast, it’s time to embark on your own urban journey. Discover the hidden gems, immerse yourself in the rich culture, and create lasting memories as you explore the vibrant streets of Yerevan.

Day 5Yerevan – Garni Pagan Temple – Geghard Cave Monastery – Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel, a short drive will take you to Gari Pagan Temple.

The only standing Hellenistic style pagan temple in the whole Caucasus and the Armenian historic highland. Here, we will feel the depth of the history and culture. This temple was a genuine witness of the birth of one of the ancient Armenian kingdoms, Arshakuni kingdom of Armenia, during the first century AD. Additionally, the temple had witnessed the adoption of Christianity in Armenia, 301 AD.

Continue to Geghard Monastery which means the monastery of the spear. The story of this holy place is related to the spear that Jesus Christ was stabbed by. The other uniqueness of the abbey lies in the fact that part of it is engraved in the rock. It is worthy to mention that Geghard Monastery is a UNESCO heritage site.

Back to Yerevan free time afternoon to discover the city on your own.
